Oskar docs

How Oskar works, what it can and cannot see in your tools, and how to get the most from it.

Oskar helps SaaS founders notice when a customer needs them. It reads your billing from Stripe and your product usage from PostHog, then tells you the few customers who need you, why, and what to do. It only ever reads from your tools. It never changes anything in them, and it never contacts your customers.

Oskar is in an invite-only private beta. These docs describe the product as it works today, and we add to them as it grows.

Start here#

  • How Oskar works: from your Stripe and PostHog data to a short list of customers who need you.
  • Getting started: invites, connecting your data, matching customers and the setup conversation.

Connecting data#

Using Oskar#

  • Decisions and feedback: the focus list, what a decision record shows, and how to tell Oskar it got something wrong.
  • Watches: ask Oskar, in plain English, to look out for something.
  • Impact: how Oskar counts revenue that changed after it flagged a customer.
  • Talk to Oskar and email digests: asking questions about your customers, and choosing which emails you get.
  • Connect AI tools: use Oskar from Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or Claude Code through its MCP server.
